On another note about the same thing - I went to my first Houston Texans football game several weeks ago (they beat NE), and I from the moment we were about a mile from the Dome ( or whatever they call it now), my mouth was hanging open. The parking lot was jamb packed with pre-game setups: motorhomes, grills, etc. - you all have seen it, either in person or on TV. Wall-to-wall people. Kiosks selling everything. I felt like Ma & Pa Kettle come to town, in a turnip truck.---------
-----------------
And, I have driven by the NASCAR race track on I-20 in Alabama on a race day, where the traffic is backed up miles and miles.
------------ -----------
I don't understand the phenomena. Jillions of people spending jillions of dollars. Waiting in line, sometimes for hours.
----I do watch the BJ from time to time, and you are correct about the "...unbelievable..." As long as people will pay, these things will keep on happening.
--------------
And the buyer's premium - what's up with that!! People pay it, so there it is. Like a garage/shop charging for "supplies."----------------- --Bill
