Dear Larry,

Hallelujah! That little Mexican guy *did* know what he was
doing! Congratulations.

                                      Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Gentle readers and all who responded,
I think I over estimated this task.
I removed the interior soft trim all around the w/s. I applied size 13 foot
to area of glass near top on drivers side. Reached up and kind of folded the
top +/- 6" of gasket along the top of the A pillar so that I could see the
edge of the steel w/s frame and pushed gently with my foot and the left top
and side of the glass just popped out. I moved over to the passenger side
and repeated the process and that side popped out even easier. I hopped out
of the car and kind of wriggled the glass upright while working the the
gasket and trim pieces off at the same time and lifted out the glass. All
that was left was to tug out the gasket from between the dash and w/s frame
and thats it. Done.My existing crack looked just as it did when I started,
gasket is whole and trim is unscathed. I am absolutely positive I could have
gotten a good piece of glass out without damage. No rot holes, the tiniest
bit of surface rust on the drivers side. Easy fix. I am one happy camper.
Larry.
