Sorry, that i step in, but for me it seems that the most that answered never had put a windshield out and in.
First of all Wilkinson sells the gasket for 175.00 Dollar.
OK, it is after market but originals are not more than 300.00 Dollar.
Second, on most Panteras the dashboard clamps the gasket in the lower part,
so it is importand to loose the dashboard mounts and pull it an inch back.
Third, you will NEVER get the trim out w/o pulling the windshield.
Original trims are nearly unavaiable !
I higly recommend to cut the inner part of the gasket.
A gasket is way cheaper than a proper windshield.
Done it a hundred times and sold a lot of windshields to those who "knew it better".

The trim WILL come out if you use WD-40 on the vertical piece that inserts
into the rubber. Work it progressively and gently; if you bend it, its
almost impossible to straighten so it fits right again.
As has been mentioned before, with soft-soled shoes on, you slouch in the
passenger seat, put your feet against the glass and push hard and steady. A
blanket on the hood catches pieces if it cracks further. And don't throw away
the gasket even if you no longer need it; they cost over $500 to replace!
BE prepared to do some brazing on the usual pits in the lower channel. If
you're skilled and lucky as to where the pits are, the dashboard need not
come out.... Good luck- J Deryke
