[DeTomaso] Windshield removal

Mike,
My reference to removal of the trim was to the interior soft trim, I've already established that the stainless exterior trim doesn't seem to want to come free by itself. That was the "gentle picking and pulling" part.
Do I need to remove the interior soft trim?

So how should I go about it? First, I'll confirm that the trim does not seem to want to come out first. A little gentle picking and pulling tells me it's not coming out without damage. So I guess I remove the interior trim all around the glass, pad things up, position myself accordingly inside the cabin, apply sneakers to glass and push?

>>>No. Remember that you can not JUST remove the trim. The trim, gasket and glass all have to be removed as an assembly. The trim is locked into the gasket by the pressure of the windshield opening on one side, and the windshield on the other.
