I'd make sure the hood area was well covered and taped down in case the push
goes too far or in case your lifting partner at the end of the process has
butterfingers.

I understand the stainless steel trim is not made any longer. I'd be really
careful, if you are looking for a home for it, I'd love to give it a home.
