Dear Mr. Aesthetics,
Which of the horrible, ugly, repulsive Hall Pantera mirrors are
you referring to? The rounded bulbous one or the infamous rear mirror from
the Dodge Colt? If the offensive mirrors are Dodge Colt type, then I
would be happy to give them a good home and self-esteem classes in hopes of
rehabilitating them. I like the old Dodge Colt type mirrors.
Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Subject: [DeTomaso] Removing glue-on mirrors
Hey guys,
I'm helping somebody who is about to deep-six the horrible, ugly, repulsive
Hall Pantera glue-on mirrors which attach to the front window glass, in
favor of the classic, original-style Ford mirrors. I already have all the
information I need to install the new mirrors thanks to Darrell Mountjoy.
But
does anybody have any advice for removing the glued-on mirrors and
eliminating all traces of the glue?
I desperately don't want to break the glass. That could prove problematic
I think.
Thanks!
Mike
