[DeTomaso] Racing Mangusta- Homologaion Doc?

Ferrari fooled the FIA in the case of the early '60s GTO being "only an 
upgrade" to the 250 GT, which was a bald-faced lie. As was the promise to build 
500 of the GTOs for production GT racing; what was the total built over 4 
years- 26? Given that this happened a few years earlier, embarrassing the 
FIA, who never gave DeTomaso any breaks on any of his cars, I suspect the 
"Homologation papers" were never officially submitted- or if they were, were not 
accepted. My 2¢- J DeRyke
