[DeTomaso] Vadar Inboard Brakes for Pantera

>From what I remember the consensus was that with the stock brakes it is
already a major PIA to remove the rotors with the in board brakes. The idea
of having to remove the half shafts to do a brake job seems like even more
trouble. I remember some of the old Jaguars had in board brakes right next
to the differential. It made a brake jobs price north of $2000.00. ( and
this was years ago) I think if you look at Ken Greens  new billet riser it
provides a new hubs, axles, bearings and replaces the half shafts with CV
joints that have a mechanical advantage over half shafts when transfering
power to the rear wheels . Kens also eliminate the need to have the bearings
pressed out to remove the rotors. . I think when you compare the cost of the
two conversions Ken's offers more benefits for a lower price. I remember
when this was brought up several months ago (maybe longer ago then that) but
I seem to remember some one pointing out some additional disadvantages and
potential problems with Vaders inboard brake set up. It does look very cool
though. ( All of these statements are just my opinion)
