[DeTomaso] Spark plug wire lengths

Hi Charlie,

Most wire sets are universal sets. They fit many motors, even 35 year old
ones. They will fit and work but are never the same length as the stock
sets. Generally too long.

As Michael said you need to cut/make your own to get a good fit.

I'm going to ask a question that may not be possible to answer.

Do you need special spark plug wires to be able to use a wire loom? The
wires on my car are too short to allow them to fit into the loom without
stressing the wires. They are MSD of some sort.

I have a brand new set of Ford Motorsport WR-3926-R (or D7PZ-12259-CR if you
prefer) spark plug wires. They aren't the pretty red that the MSD wires are,
but anyone have any idea if they can be installed on a 351C with enough
slack to fit through the looms easily? The plug cables are here and my
engine is 8 hours away, which is why I can't check it myself.

Thanks!
