[DeTomaso] trickle/alarm question--opinions needed!

Seems to me what is pictured there is a simple fused bypass.  Yea it 
will blow the fuse when you go to start the car, but it still provides 
enough current path to drain the battery which is half of what we're 
trying to avoid here.
