Tom,

I will say a prayer for you my son. Some will forgive the gravis
sin...others will not. Me? Well we all will have our judgment days.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Pantera sold today....

hello all,
i wanted to let the forum members know my 1972 pre-L #3106 sold today
to a gentleman from colorado springs. the fellow is an avid car guy like us
and after a track event or 2 intends to restore the car from soup to nuts. i
couldn't be happier that the car will receive this treatment. all the
paperwork and original parts i was given when i bought the car were passed
along to him. the car sold for less than i'd hoped but much more than i paid
for it 7 yrs ago. i can say with a smile that i drove it for free all these
years.
i was privileged to have owned the car and particularly enjoyed the
open road and road course races i was involved with. meeting folks like
dennis "mad dawg" antennuci were highlights for me and those connections
will continue. i want to thank everyone on this list for your valuable
advice and opinions over the years that got me thru some challenges, many i
created for myself!
i wish all of you the best as you have undertaken a noble cause in
keeping these beautiful cars on the road. for me, it's time to start
wrenching on a certain '63 fairlane sports coupe, a car that has been
patiently waiting on it's well-deserved restomod for 3 yrs.
     sincerely,
tom di iulio
