[DeTomaso] New Ford GT Transaxle

A workmate/friend of mine is almost finished having his Superformance
GT40 MkII built.
It will have a twin turbo intercooled Keith Kraft 427 in it. His goal is 1000hp.
For whatever reason, I can't fathom. He just says a personal goal of
his has always been to have a 1000hp car.

He has put a Ricardo behind it to handle the torque. It is huge
compared to the ZF.
The back of the car was modified extensively and the engine is up
higher and more forward.
All bad things in my opinion, but he doesn't listen to me.

It's his money....

I predict it will be in a magazine feature article and then never get
driven. Oh... I forgot to mention he wants it to be a daily driver and
has an iPod docking station in it as well....

Oh and a paddle shifter... and an ice bucket for the intercoolers
and.... never mind...

:-)

FWIW,
Kirby
