Dave, I change my oil when the car is hot to get all the gunk etc out of it and yes the oil is hot so I suspect low temps are ok as they are 10-20 degress above the water temp when running around town.. not sure about the upper end though as I can watch the temp drop 25 plus after just backing off when on the track Bob
