Sweden removed the weight based import tax on cars many years ago, and 
now the only fees you pay are sales tax (25%) and customs dues (10%), 
plus registration and plates. If you import from another EU country 
there is no customs and if you paid sales tax in the country where you 
bought the car, there is no Swedish sales tax.

When I imported a used 2001 audi a6 from Germany in 2003 I only had to 
pay registration, ~US$ 300, plates and pre-paid scrap fee, which has 
since been removed.
