I created an album on the POCA website that shows both a Euro pushbutton 
(unmodified) trunk from #1256, and a US-spec modified trunk from #1765 that 
clearly shows the difference, as both of the pictured trunks weren't 
upholstered at the time I took the photos.

Interestingly, both trunks have the car's serial number written on the 
underside in chalk, which was done at the time of manufacture (or at least, at 
the time of modification).
