[DeTomaso] ZF To Chassis Ground Necessary?

My battery is located low down to the right of the engine, the red
Optima seen on the image http://www.hemipanter.se/balsa%20bumpers%20002.jpg
This makes for a balance to the driver and lowest possible CGH, is recieved.
Also, it makes for a very short + cable to the starter motor and the
ground cable is also fitted to the starter mounting bolt and an extra
ground, smaller area, to the alternator to ensure the generator to read
correct charging voltage.
Further more, this saves weight since the cable becomes short and thereby
I can also use smaller area without voltage drop. Battery safety switch
is on the fire wall behind passenger seat, easy reached from drivers seat.
