They don't show the front of the Lamborghini, was it totaled?
 
It appears to be much more of an engine swap than converting a Lamborghini into a Mustang.

I guess some guys like to make specific desired impression on
others. Building  an expensive car to look like a cheap car,
elicits a variety of reactions among different observers.

The pictures show, of course not exactly that it is about
improving the car, but what is done is technically for the
worse.

I would say that it reveals more about that the client suffers
from wanting to satisfy certain personal needs, and think that
this is a good way to go about it.
