If you are not yet aware of Mike Dailey's www.panteraplace.com. this  
is where you can find a wealth of information.

Our very dear SOBill created and gave to Mike marvelous wiring  
diagrams of all the Pantera systems.  Nothing you can't get if you  
have the factory diagrams, but they are a PITA to decipher with their  
ten-zillion parallel lines. Bills are a breeze to read.

The courtesy lights do indeed ground through either the console switch  
or the door switches.
