[DeTomaso] Michelin SX MXX3 - any opinions?

I had the Pilot Sport MXX3's 245/40/17 and 335/35/17 mounted on '7024 when I purchased the car and they stayed on until I started a GP4 conversion. I have just this week had someone commit to purchasing the wheels and tires combined. 

 

They always performed well on street and track, with good tread wear. I drove in the rain and they were no worse than other tires provided they are given the respect a Pantera deserves in the wet. IMHO they look more correct on a Pantera from a tread pattern perspective in comparison to the Chevron style tread of later Pilot Sports.
