Dear Bill,


          All I know, I learned from one visit to the Fred Jones Ford
Remanufacturing Plant in Oklahoma City about twenty years ago.  I visited
the dynamometer section.  I talked to the guys who had just tested a Ford
engine with a Propane conversion.   I recall that they said a propane
conversion to an original gas engine resulted in 20% less horsepower.   It
was a long time ago.....and that's all I can tell you.
