Dear Goran,

You make a very astute observation about some of the motivations
for exotic sports car ownership, sir.

                      Warmest regards, Chuck Engles

Ferrari workshop takes good pay, the closest to me charges $ 240 hr. That
is $ 1680 a day! Needless to figure out what the annual cost of my Pantera
would be using the sort of yardstick. It would be a more fair comparison
to look at the number of hours that each car requires to be kept rolling.
One can philosophize about what these costs will depend on, but I incline
to the existence of a market that is willing to pay for the "package" of
various antics Ferrari delivers.
A 360 Ferrari is not particularly fast, so it can not be "sports car
interest" you pay for.
