Hey, what's all this about? I thought plugs were more or less alike, the
only difference between brands being marketing. And since Champion is sort
of American and NGK sort of Japanese, why beat up your countrymen?

I've always used Champion plugs. I experimented heavily with them in my
blown 440" boat, when you have 5-7 PSI pressure and are going at 5000 rpm
for several minutes, you need the right plugs, or ka-boom. I spent some time
calling their tech line, and got good advice. The engine stayed alive and I
won the single engine v-bottom class that year.

So, are NGK plugs superior? They're in the 600HP Pantera I just bought,
should I stay with NGK rice cooker plugs? :-)
