You did find the hole at the front of the footwell with the rubber plug for
access, yes?

Hey Mike & Mike,
Was thinking along those lines and your recommendations
will come in handy - Thanks! I know one thing for sure, it
won't take me as long to "finger" out how to get the rear top
A-arm bolt on the right front out of it's seemingly impossible
position. Had to THINK awhile on that one & it HURT my
brain (or what's left of it!).

Bob

All

I did was (in order) unbolt and hang the brake caliper, unbolt the sway bar

end, pop the tie rod end, unbolt the top A arm and the top of the shock, let

the assembly drop down and unbolt the bottom A arm bolts and pull the entire

L or R front suspension assembly away from the car. Swap the bushings right

there, and reverse the process. No popping of ball joints and messing with

camber and toe (though you'll need to get an alignment anyway).

>>>If you already have poly bushings installed, you can do this job in a
matter
of minutes, not hours. Just support the spindle/rotor on a jack, unbolt the
upper control arm from the chassis, swap
the bushings, re-attach them to the car. Then unbolt the lower control arm
from
the chassis, swap those bushings, reattach, and drive to your friendly
alignment shop. :>)
