[DeTomaso] taillight screw question

I've seen all of those on Panteras, along with sheet metal screws. Some 
owners/mechanics, faced with your problem, will tap out the brass inserts for 
any screws they have laying around that are the right length, losing the tiny 
rubber o-rings on the screws in the process. And sometimes when tapping, 
the brass thread inserts break free of the plastic, forcing the sheet-metal 
screw adaption. FWIW- J DeRyke
