Didn't he get so frustrated he resold the car without every driving it? or was
that an exaggeration.

Subject: Re: [DeTomaso] Anyone using a Electric Parking Brake actuator?

P.S.  Back in 1995, a new Pantera owner in PCNC actively wrecked his Pantera
just a day after buying it, due to misunderstanding how the line lock worked.
He had the car parked on his sloped driveway, he popped it in neutral and it
started to roll backwards.

He panicked, and flipped the line lock on.  Nothing happened because he wasn't
stepping on the brakes.  So then he stepped on the brakes.  Nothing happened
because he left the line lock on!

So the Pantera picked up speed, rolled backwards down his driveway--and crashed
straight into the visiting insurance agent's car!!!!!  His insurance agent had
come over to see the new car and establish its value for his new insurance
policy!

DOH!
