I like the frog eyes too. While the 1971 Pantera is timeless, I don't 
think it should look like a 2010 BMW with 19 inch rims and silly looking 
lights. I like to see an Italian supercar, with 15" tires of the time it 
was created, with frog eyes of that erra, a large muscle car V8 with 
down draft webbers. To change it into a modern ricer takes away from the 
feel from which the car was created. When I see the old  Race photos of 
these cars,  I just can't imagine anything else.

To see cookie cutter rims and thin tires, small headlights, mod motors, 
why not buy a $10k Mustang?

Think about the C4 Corvette.  It was just a wedge.  The C5 looks great.  The
C6?? - boring.  The C6 Z06 looks okay, but the standard model is just
another wedge.
