The frog eyes when open deflect the air past partially lowered windows. Actually makes for more comfort. Discovered by accident, the A/C not the best in 3400.

I really like them too.  And I think they look a little goofy, but I
really honestly like that part.  I have some photos of lovely women I
know, and they look beautiful no matter what situation or expression.
But my favorite pics are when they have a big grin or some coffee
through the nose moment.  Still lovely, but caught in a very human and
joyful moment.

That's what the frog eyes do for me.  It turns my sleek exotic car
into a quirky european sports fun ride with just a click of a button.
There's a lot of class in a goofy grin.
