[DeTomaso] - Frog Eyes - was a very long thread that I don't want to continue

I've given this alot of thought over the years and have been trying to find a way of saying that sometimes things just look "right". The original headlights
have a look that says they belong on, or came with the car originally. The smaller headlight just don't look correct with the lines of the car. It's like being able to tell if a car has aftermarket wheels. They may look nice but they just tell you they weren't part of the original design. I have the small headlights (came with the car when I bought it) and don't really care for them. And one more thing...frog eyes or cat eyes...they come up at NIGHT!, when the car is moving!
A lot of money with very little return IMHO. I've never had any problems not being able to see with the stock lights and there are plenty of higher performance bulbs too.
Anyway, the new Open Road Race from Marfa to Presidio is a GO for October. BBORR is easily the best ORR of the lot, but this one may be giving it a good run for the money, The road is awesome, just ask the Pope from Durango.
