[DeTomaso] more on rear tire width

Ahhh.... a touchy subject. And nothing to with the subject here, but...
:-)

A lot of guys don't like mirrors mounted on the doors or the fenders as they
did in the 'old days'.
'It ruins the lines...'

If you look close at the pictures on my website, you might be able to see
that I have simply velcro'd the small stick on mirrors onto my door sill
right next to the window. They certainly take some getting used to, but they
do work.
Once I got used to them, I never bothered getting anything else.

Surprisingly, you can see quite a bit out of the normal rear view window.
Better, in my opinion, than you can in a Pantera. As you no doubt found out,
it probably took you some time to get used to seeing out the back with the
blind spots on the Pantera. Same kind of thing with the GT40.
