[DeTomaso] Wheel Question

Michael,

I'm just curious as for what kind of shows and events you would want 15" wheels and tires vs 17"

Only serious "that's not the correct color of wire on that switch" concourse judges usually care about originality, and the 17s will most likely have better grip if it is a driving event.

Jim.

Subject: [DeTomaso] Wheel Question

If one wanted to put Campys back on the car for shows, events, etc. Can one
ut 8" x 15" all the way around and skip using the 7" altogether, since 10"
re pricey and getting harder to find.
If so, what sizes are the fattest that work and look good. I currently run
45/45/17 in the front on 17 x 8 and 315/35/17 on 17 x 11 in the rear ( they
ere out of stock on 335 when I needed tires ).
I can't tell any difference aside from the look between the 315 and the 335,
hey are about 1" narrower.

hanks,
