[DeTomaso] Torque question

The hat is held on by the wheel studs isn't it? If inboard then the stud splines will hold it fixed against the axle flange and if outboard the wheel will keep it it place once mounted and torqued? Make sure the stud splines don't protrude beyond the mounting face for the wheel. Did you figure out if your wheels are hub centric or not?

IMO 75 ft/lbs for 60 degree taper 12mm x 1.5 lug nuts with min 7 turns of thread engagement. Remember to use a star or diagonal torquing pattern.
