That is great Kirby, I would like to have had mine long enough to drive it that much.

You guys....  :-)

I drove my car for many miles over the years. It has 61,600+ on it since I had it restored back in 1985. It had 48,000 on it before that.

It's been from Colorado to New Jersey and back to Kansas.
Then back to Colorado, Kansas, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, from Houston to Topeka and back, etc. etc.

I drove it as an every day driver to work and back (rain or shine... it was my only car!)  in Houston from 1994 until 2001.
It's been on the track many times during all that.

OK, I just got it back last December after some rust repair and a 5 year hiatus in Brunei, but I still drive it to work every week or so and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Sometimes, the GT40 gets the honor.

A Pantera can be very reliable, but hey... mine will be 40 years old next February. You _do_ have to drive them to find out where the weak points are and fix them. Then, they are just like any other car. Maintenance and drive.

I'll go back to my corner now....
