[DeTomaso] Flowmaster vs Magnaflow mufflers

I googled Magnaflow exhaust systems and found this comparison of Flowmaster to Magnaflows, in case you're interested

Their comments imply the Flowmaster is louder but the MF sounds deeper and better to many posters.

FWIW, I think that trying to build a muffler system by eye, without 
xperience, is futile. You're trying to modify a pair of existing mufflers the 
ize 
f kid's lunchboxes, run 400+ bhp worth of exhaust & noise thu them and get 
 tolerable amount of noise out the ends along with extra horsepower. 
actories spend months on the dyno with myriad designs doing this. I hope you're 
lucky but it sounds like there's a clean-sheet-of-paper design in the future 
or this project... or (easier) Magneflows with siliencer tips. Which is 
hat I'll be using since I outgrew the noisy muffler thing in high school.
