I have said this before
I have efi
before I added my ears the car did not want to run properly at idle and low speeds because the air going into the engine was too hot here in Az
After I installed the ears it runs so much better and it did not effect my power at high speeds.
I still have to leave off the gas in 5th gear at 6500 rpms because it still wants to accelerate.

The side air ducts are better for low speed and lower rpms.
At high speed it does not matter if they are in low pressure or whatever.
