THe factory said GR-4s were pure racing cars with non street useage 
contemplated. GT-4s were racing machines with 'some' streeetability in mind- sort 
of like the European 'Stradale' concept. But it didn't work out that way- 
most were raced hard from the start in pro series; some GT-4s have more 
big-track racing history than some GR-4s. But because there were so few of both, 
its not much of a concern 35 years after the fact. Cheers- J Deryke
