I am installing a DeTomaso/Wilkinson homologated 4.6 DOHC in my DeTomaso Pantera.

I have the CARB dyno sheet that shows it makes 360ish hp SAE NET at the Crank.

Secondly, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MODIFY THE INNER WHEEL HOUSINGs to install the 4.6 or 5.4 DOHC.  Take it from me first hand, or look at Richard Barkey's 4.6 install (ask Mr. Google).

I intend to run an article in the P.I. forum, with pictures, to finally put the misconseptions to rest.

Not that I've seen.  McLain has tested a fair number of them and says
they average about the same as 351C's.

None but they may have less trouble with core shift.  302's are also
thin wall but have shorter cylinders so don't have the column buckling
failure mode.  They tend just to split the whole block down the center
(supercharged applications), or fret the main caps (RPM).

I don't think so but it depends upon the shape of the new heads.
If anything, the heads are bulkier for the variable valve timing
hardware.

Not yet.
