[DeTomaso] old tires

You can probably run those same tires for 10 more years or longer if you don;t drive hard......don't like tire smoking starts, road races or track events or going through mountain twisties at speed but then why have the Pantera? 

Thats the problem with this group of tired, angry old white men....who want to keep the Pantera locked up in a garage when it begs you to spank it and spank it HARD......okay before I get excited ;-]> let me answer the question.....

If you plan to take it out on the track or to an orr then buy a 2nd set of tires that are track dedicated......

PS I have had all most brand new 5-ply trailer tires grenade......and in one case I did not even know it......the beauty of a double axle trailer is safety.........in one case (front axle tire) where I knew I had a blowout because I felt the vibration through the steering wheel.....in the second case (rear axle tire) Dick, Larry and I did not know have any indication we had the blow out until a driver came up honking his horn and flashing his lights.......pointing to the trrailer tires.....we pulled over....sure enough the right rear tire had grenaded off the rim entirely......was glad to have a 2-axle trailer.  So unless your Pantera has dual rear axles get some new tires ;-)
