[DeTomaso] Race trailers

I've just changed insurance company and the new company wanted me to
install a tracking device.

I installed a:
http://www.usglobalsat.com/p-256-tr151-gprs.aspx

It has a built in battery that lasts for about 10 days in "motion mode",
and I have connected a charger to the cars electrical system.

I have a GSM subscription that cost around $2.50 a month, and the
manufacturer has a free web service where you can track the device.

I'm trying to get it to send me an SMS when it starts moving, but I
haven't been able to get that to work in conjunction with the web service.

I have a bunch of SMS templates in my cell phone for controlling the
device, including telling it to make a voice call to me that allows me
to listen in.

In "motion mode" it has the GPS disabled and only the GSM and motion
sensing systems are powered on.

It sends a status report daily when stationary and location reports
every minute when moving.
