[DeTomaso] New Clutch Issues

Dear Jack,



          I am a dummy.   I have heard of clutch chatter, but I don't what
it is exactly.   I understand that it is generally a bad thing, but what
malfunction does it indicate?

Sean, I have a 3-finger McLeod clutch in our car and it doesn't chatter. 
Does the disc have a marcel or shock-springs? Springless discs are meant for

racing and do sometimes chatter in street driving. Good luck- J DeRyke
