Bless the heart of the soul who sent me a spare set of shocks, but the 
bushings were just as bad if not worse than mine.  I'd like you all to 
make sure you understand the power of this list is great, to have 
someone volunteer a spare set of shocks for me to experiment with    
It's truly a great little society we have going here and I sincerely 
appreciate all the help I've received and advice I've been given.

So....  I need a car for Saturday.

I took my front set of shocks to my Dad's place and we pressed out just 
the lower bushings.  We rotated them 180 and pressed them back in.  
Tonight I installed the shocks to the car, swapping sides.  Went for a 
drive and -no- rattles.  I think the bushings were the problem.

Now that I know, I may just replace them with poly in the short term.  
This other set I just received, I'll probably replace the bushings in as 
well and then they'll be ready to go too.

Thank you to -everyone- who submitted ideas on what to look for.  It 
kept me going and looking until I found what it really was.  Now I have 
more confidence something isn't actually broken and about to come apart, 
which will of course give me more confidence on the race track.
