[DeTomaso] Pantera aero info

I did something like this. Carter Boyer and I made a very fast run back to San Antonio from Texas World Speedway one dark rainy night. The conditions were miserable and the car was absolutely filthy...but you could clearly see the airflow patterns

in the road muck. They all made sense but some angles were slightly different than I expected. The biggest surprise was

the airflow out the deck lid opening. Very little came out of the driver side. That side was relatively clean while the passenger side was covered in dirt. It's obvious why, the engine compartment is more open on that side but you (I) don't usually think about that. It gives you an idea about where to get cooler intake air. I have to find some photos of all that.

The streaks show both actual direction on the body and, by measuring their lengths, indentify the high and low pressure areas. It is a neat way to identify where vents may be placed.
