[DeTomaso] Thermostat question

IIRC from the previous posts, the 13lb cap is the?proper one.??I know Italian cars of that era were designed to use a 0.9 bar cap, which is about 13 lbs.

No, if you have the original radiator neck an American cap will be too short and not give proper pressure.

Hi everyone as I know this question has been asked several times before- but Im 
brain farting- so here we go-

#1-What pressure radiator cap should be used on the Panteras ?? 
I here its 13-16#'s  and then Hall Pantera says  22-24# racing cap - so which is 
it ?

#2-The second question is can we use the american verison radiator cap on the 
original pressure side of the tank ?
