[DeTomaso] npc - engine in hertz shelby mustang 1969

[hoppe1 at cox.net]

Back in the day, I had a friend that owned a 1970 350 shelby.
He claimed it had a ford experimental motor in it.
At the time I thought it was bull.
Is it possible that it had a 351c in it?
It was a chicago car and he eventually crashed it.
Not sure if exists today.
