[DeTomaso] Sharkhide aluminum protectant - anybody used it?

Has anybody used this stuff? It looks interesting. I got an email from 
Eastwood showing it as a new (to them) product. It's appearently been 
around for years. It's supposed to work on all kinds of metals (and 
paint too). Good to 450 deg. They also have a cleaner. Not cheap at 
$60/qt but it sounds like a little goes a long way.
