Try the La Bufadara Hill Climb in a Pantera.
It has 1,000 foot drop offs and a few road side posts that might stop a out-of-control donkey cart.

When Dick Drenske and I went a couple hundred Mexicans crowd around the car praying, then they 'put hands on' the Pantera to bless it. It was a good thing Fruitloops wasn't there....he would have went crazy.

Anyway, many-many racers have been killed at the La Bufadara or the Ensenada Road Race including veteran Pantera racer Frank Gerum who over cooked through a turn.

I once all most ran over a course worker in Mexico when 3 girls on the side of the road course all lifted they're shirts at the same time to show their ta-ta's.

Racing is Hell.

Let's face it no sanctioned racing is for the feint of heart. Virginia City Hillclimb was this past weekend and you just can't be thinking about the 200 ft drop off the side or you'd be parked at the bottom of the hill at the start line still. The event was not without incident and got shut down early Sunday afternoon....

Sunday midday a Ferrari 355 Challenge car blew out a rear tire on turn 15 and rather than go over the edge the driver put the car into the inside rocks, unfortunately it then flipped over on it's roof and caught fire. This was a fully kitted race car with roll cage etc. but when pressed the fire supression system didn't work. The driver was hanging upside down and caught by his HANS device and the corner worker couldn't get close to the car due to the heat, fortunately with about 30 seconds of life left the driver managed to scramble free.

Around 4 pm a Z06 Corvette span on turn 16 and toppled over the edge, the driver had enough sense to literally keep it pointed down hill to prevent it rolling and eventually was stopped by the brush and trees....car was a total loss, but both driver and passenger got away with minor bruising. These guys were lucky, this is the same turn where 4 years ago 2 people died in a Dodge viper that went over and straight down a 200 ft drop.
