[DeTomaso] Turn signal no longer self-canceling

Hmm. Me thinks I may not have described my problem fully. The turn signal
will hold in place when I put it up or down, just won't turn itself off when
I bring the wheel back around. Although, it is getting harder to get it to
stay on when I use the lever.

What are you talking about? The canceling device is a mechanical red
plastic cam thingee that looks like a donut with one big ear inside the
steering column.

>>>And what does that thingee do?

It acts upon a chingus inside the switch. That chingus is what keeps the
switch down, until the cam actuates it, at which point it's released.

The chingus goes bad over time, so that the switch has to be held in the up
or down position. That's Mike's problem, and that's what Bill Taylor fixes
oh-so-well.

And if a switch is too far gone, I have an NOS switch available (which has
been looked over and tested by Bill, but not taken apart and 'fixed' since
it is new).
