[DeTomaso] Turn signal no longer self-canceling

Inside the actual switch assembly, are two little canceling ears.
They break and then you can't cancel in one direction, but -can- in
the other. The little donut you talk about is still intact and is an
external influence on the internal canceling mechanism. But it's the
-internal to the switch- part that breaks. You can see a small
plastic tab that sticks out when the signal is engaged, and which the
red (in my case0 canceling donut will trip when the wheel is turned.
In addition to that little tab are two more internal arms that -hold-
the switch arm either up or down until the turn is canceled. Those
are the pieces that typically break.

Been there, done that, had my switch apart, eventually sent the pieces
to SOBill. (though I got a replacement from someone somewhere long
before that).
