Roger,

I also have Quella's internal hydraulic on 2511.  Shortly after  
purchase, with the car having sat much more than being driven, the  
rubber quad-seals in the bearing were dried-out and started to leak.   
So out came the ZF, new seals and bearing, and the system was bled.

No PP movement. With new, tight seals in the bearing, it was now  
bypassing fluid internally in the MC.  This may be your problem -  
internal bypass.

A rebuild kit for the MC cured the problem.  My CNC aluminum MC has a  
5/8" bore.  I believe they all have the bore diameter stamped on the  
bottom of the fluid reservoir.   Clean yours out and see what you can  
find.

Rebuild kits are available from CNC and other sources, or from Dennis,  
of course.
