[DeTomaso] GT4 wheels & Offset

Orville,

The ET figure is the interesting one, it's the rim offset in millimeters. The centerline of an 8" Campy sits about 20 mm inward of the hub contact point. The centerline of a 10" Campy sits about 5 mm outward of the hub. For the rim shown the centerline is 24 (or 22.5) mm outboard of the hub. As I know that the 8" has the centerline about 20 mm inboard of the hub I can clearly see that this wheel will put the outside edge of the rim about 3" further out than a stock 8" wheel. This would seem to work with a 4" wider fender lip.
