[DeTomaso] Paint

Nick, I paint cars everyday. base clear has a little different look or patina. I would say more reflection. Enamel is out. I use single stage urethanes on solid colors like your grabber blue. easy to spot in and it lays down like glass. Plus you never have to worry about the clear coming off.   I would let my painter do it the way he wants.  Kinda of a toss up. Use quality product. Bill
